1977 Nautor Swan Swan 38

Built in 1977 she is the 96th Swan 38 to be built out of a total of 116, which puts her towards the end of the production run.

Since I purchased her I have been diligent in making sure she is kept in pristine condition, serviced regularly and I have had a proper maintenance and replacement program.  

• GRP hand laid single skin hull with Lloyds Cert of hull construction
• White coloured topsides with blue Covita and boot top
• Teak laid deck replaced in 2001 based on the original factory design except for spinnaker pole stowage – see picture
• 2004 bottom treatment against Osmosis using Hempel products
• GRP superstructure
• GRP engine beds with steel inserts
• Lead keel
• Varnished teak interior finish
• Ballast keel is a lead casting with antimony. Cast in keel bolts are of stainless steel with docking shoe in stainless steel and single lifting point lug.
• The rig is stepped on a galvanised steel step with moveable shoe for rake adjustment.
• Rudder is of foam filled GRP with integral stainless steel shaft supported by three nylon-bushed bearings. The steering quadrant is aluminium
