Club racing in Kingston Harbour and offshore Jamaica. Kingston-Cayman races and Miami Montego Bay Ocean Race – winning PHRF first prize.
This is a very original example of one of the successful and popular Swan models. She has been well maintained by her owner.
The teak deck is in excellent condition having been replaced with 14 mm. teak from Teakdecking Systems of Sarasota Fla., U.S.A.. The dowels are all in situ and paying appears to be in good order.
She has the original Perkins 4108 diesel engine generating 43 HP with under 2,500 hours on it. It has experienced regular and timed oil and filter changes at precisely 100 hours each, and recently had injector and fuel pump overhaul.
She is also fitted with Lewmar AST winches; 43 for mailsail sheet, 4x46 for halyards, 2x55 primary and 2x52; making her an easily handled short crew cruising yacht. With Reckmann roller furling headsail and full mainsail, she is an easy boat to handle short-handed and often sailed easily by two.
Navtec Hydraulics on Backstay, Baby Stay and Boom Vang, pump panel in cockpit by helmsman seat.
A very pretty sailing yacht capable of ocean passages this Swan will appeal to an
owner looking for a “proper yacht” that is in good, seamanlike condition.
